Degrees of Separation

A few weeks ago I sent a note to the leader of a Wednesday night study group my husband and I were attending. I explained that we would no longer be coming due to the concerning increase in Corona Virus cases. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to feeling a bit embarrassed about seeming paranoid.

Yesterday we received an e-mail that classes are officially suspended as the son in law of one of the attendees was exposed.

I don’t know about you, but it just feels as if the degrees that separate us from this thing keep getting smaller and smaller.. and it’s pretty scary.

Yet I am AGAIN reminded:

If we cancel ALL non-essential interactions with others and STRICTLY observe social distancing, we will gift ourselves and our families the best protection against COVID-19 available. You can’t put your seatbelt on after a crash and expect to be protected so why not take these steps NOW..before it’s too late.

It’s never been easier to be a hero..

what are you waiting for?

Hubby and I are in a Lifegroup that last met in March 10th. It only meets once a month, but … we said we’d not be attending. So glad now.

I keep feeling like we are just two steps ahead of this thing..not far enough ahead for me..but better than not being ahead at all. We do almost NOTHING outside the home now..
