Symptoms

It woke me up last night; the rain.

As I lay there listening to it lashing against the house, the first thought that popped into my head was “thank-you God..” It has been exceptionally dry here in Florida lately, and the weeks without rain are starting to take their toll as lawns turn from lush green to brown.

I care..

but I really don’t care about the color of my lawn right now.

Kinda like I care.. but really don’t care about my gray roots growing in

and my acrylic nails growing out.

They say that one of the symptoms of this virus is losing your sense of taste and smell.

No mention of losing interest-

in stuff like making dinner..

or your bed.

So I think I’m still good..

although something tells me that losing interest is a symptom worth keeping an eye on.

I’m sure you are not in the minority! I was raised in a make your bed (or else) family.. Being sick in bed was the only acceptable excuse for not making it..HAHA

The day cannot start until I make our bed, though I might still be wearing the sweats I slept in. I stopped dying my hair years ago due to an allergic reaction, who knew that would ever come in handy?
