JUST PEACHY!

I have to admit I was skeptical at first when my friend raved about how smooth her face was after shaving it for the first time, so I talked to my dermatologist and she confirmed that yes, there were indeed some benefits..make-up goes on smoother and of course shaving provides a gentle exfoliation if done correctly.

A short time later, I saw an article in the Wall Street Journal (of all places) about how popular women’s face shaving had become. The video below was embedded in the piece. I watched with both horror, fascination and yes, a bit of irritation. (Go ahead and watch it, you’ll know what I mean..)

Short of asking Dr. Fauci what his thoughts were, I figured I’d done my due diligence by this point and ordered the tools needed for this new addition to my skin care routine. Unlike so many other beauty products, these little razors are actually inexpensive and available pretty much anywhere toothbrushes and shampoo are sold.

I followed the directions on the annoying video and was indeed pleasantly surprised by how smooth my skin felt without peach fuzz.

It’s been a month or so and while I haven’t re-shaved my entire face yet, I will say I touch up my eyebrows all of the time and I LOVE how quick and easy it is to use this tool instead of plucking.

I LOATHE PLUCKING! 🤨

I also am mortified by the occasional rogue hair that pops up here or there and I’m pleased to report that my “tinkle” takes care of it in a twinkle. 😂

No, that’s not me..this girl is too young for stray facial hair. But your day is coming honey..it’s coming.

So yeah..face shaving for women. I’m probably late to this party (like all the others) but hey, I’m glad to be here now!
