The Prism Effect

This is a story about good people.

Seems an elderly man on a Delta flight to Phoenix last Sunday began having serious heart trouble.  Passengers and crew responded immediately to help; one of the passengers was Tim Tebow.

This is a story about faith.

Tim isn’t medically trained, but while others attended to the ailing man’s physical needs, he consoled the man’s family and prayed with them.

This is a story about darkness.

If you click below you can read about the incident and if you care to, link to the disparaging and hurtful comments people left about Tim Tebow ..proving once again that there are truly lost souls searching for ANY opportunity to spread discouragement and darkness.

This is a story about power.

When people work together as one, each according to their ability as they did on this plane, we have the power to make this world a much, much brighter place.

great story of compassion, sad that people chose to find the negative in it

It can really make you depressed if you let it..but the real story is how everyone pulled together. I’m sure the people on the plane were deeply touched by this experience..I know I was..and all I did was read about it.

  2. The folks who need to marginalize every good intention are the ones who need prayer.

I read one comment that said something about “why did Tebow get all the credit?” Well, likely, that was the closest to a public figure of the group – a person more likely to be known than the others on the plane.

I hope I always choose to see light.

What I think I really appreciate about him and others like him is you can almost feel their resolve not to let the comments keep them from doing what they feel is right. He knows that no matter what he does, the comments-the judgement- will come..in a way I guess it may be liberating – right?
